Liz Black is a 2012 Stellar award nominee for “Radio Personality of the Year”. She is a well-respected New York City, Tri-State area on-air personality. You can hear her refreshing voice and feel her anointed spirit every Sunday Morning as she hosts “Sunday Praise” on 107.5 WBLS 10AM - 12PM and 1190 WLIB 12PM - 3PM New York’s only 24 hour gospel radio station. You can also catch her filling in for Bishop Hezekiah Walker’s “Afternoon Praise”.

Not limited to her phenomenal work in radio, Liz is also the founder of the New Mercies Café which sponsors the #1 Gospel Variety Show / Open Mic at various locations throughout the NY-NJ-CT Tri-State area. She is also an experienced Gospel Music journalist and produced, hosted and edited her own cable television show for 6 years. Liz is the founder of the Gospel Artist Network (, which she established as a means to mentor independent artists.

When Liz is not on the air or hosting a show or event, she lends her support to outreach ministries such as Arise & Walk Ministries Foundation and Community2Community, to name a couple. She also finds time to support abandoned animals in need. In addition, Liz is a “Prayer Warrior” and the host of a free 7pm weekly Monday night prayer conference call that has different dynamic Christian women in ministry co-hosting as the prayer leaders.
