He has filed a lawsuit against the network “seeking over $1,000,000 in damages, alleging that the movie contains scenes that show him being violent towards his late wife, singer Whitney Houston.”  He also alleges that the production used information they obtained while working with him on his 2004 reality show, “Being Bobby Brown,” using parts of the show without his permission.

theJasmineBrand, reports:

Brown claims the casting call for the movie described him as “a hard drug user” who “devolves into violence and abuse towards his wife.”

He is suing for libel and slander. Meanwhile, the movie is set to air on TV One on October 8th.
