Kandi Burruss Set To Star In Broadway’s “Chicago” In New York City

Congrats are in order for ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Kandi Burruss, who will be making her Broadway debut in the Tony-winning revival of Chicago, the longest-running Broadway musical of all time, from January 15 through March 11.

Kandi will star as Matron “Mama” Morton for eight weeks at the Ambassador Theatre. She will also be working alongside Tony nominee Charlotte d’Amboise as Roxie Hart, Todrick Hall as Billy Flynn, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and Olivier winner Leigh Zimmerman as Velma Kelly.

In an awkward interview with Andy Cohen on ‘Watch What Happens Live,’ she stated that she will not be working on new music with her group Xscape.

"I'm going to be doing Broadway and some other things, and they're going to be doing new music.”
