Easynest, a new website, is a way for people traveling alone to connect and sleep in the same room so they can find more luxurious or convenient hotels that still fit their budgets.

The site is based on the idea that most hotels charge a flat rate on rooms whether there are one or two guests. So thrifty solo travelers can, in theory, skip the $50 hostel and instead split the cost of a $100 hotel room.
