Models set to hit East Harlem runway for chance to be face of plus-sized Kurvacious clothing line

Move over “America's Next Top Model,” this runway's got curves.

Women will be strutting their stuff at the Kurvacious Model Competition in East Harlem for a chance to be the new face of a clothing website.

After five months and two rounds of preliminary competition, the winner will be chosen at the final round being held at the Crystal Room on E. 123rd St. on July 27. Harlem resident LaTeffaney Scott started the plus-sized apparel store in 2010.

A financial broker-turned-fashionista, Scott felt there was a glaring need for stylish alternatives suitable for for a fuller woman.
