'Name That Tune' producer Sandy Frank sues to get engagement ring back from ex-fiancée

A former "Name That Tune" producer wants his ex-fiancée to face the music and return his $300,000 engagement ring.

In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, legendary TV producer Sandy Frank, 84, claims he showered Patricia Berg, 66, with gifts after they first became involved in 2008 — giving her $9,000 Van Cleef & Arpels ear clips, $3,000 La Perla lingerie, a $6,000 Hermes bag and a $2,800 Hermes wallet.

He popped the question in April 2009 with a blinding 7.23 carat, cushion-cut diamond ring. It was set in platinum between two heart-shaped diamond baguettes, the suit says.

They called off the engagement that June, but she never gave the ring back.

It's unclear why Frank waited to sue until now, but he has been busy in the years since. He later married another woman, and they both ended up in criminal court in 2010 for allegedly throwing drinking glasses at each other. They've since divorced.
