Well the day is final here. President Barack Obama will deliver his final farewell speech tonight (January 10th) at McCormick Place in Chicago. McCormick Place is not just home for POTUS, but he actually delivered his 2012 Victory Speech here as well. On November 7, 2012 after defeating Mitt Romney, Obama took the stage to address the nation.
During his speech, he thanked his lovely first lady, Michelle Obama:
“Let me say this publicly. Michelle, I have never loved you more. I’ve never been so prouder to watch the rest of America fall in love with you, too, as our nation’s first lady.”
Who can forget his famous quote from his speech?
"I believe we can seize this future together because we are not as divided as our politics suggests. We're not as cynical as the pundits believe. We are greater than the sum of our individual ambitions, and we remain more than a collection of red states and blue states. We are, and forever will be, the United States of America."
POTUS’ farewell speech will be taking place at 9pm EST tonight (Tuesday).
