Kevin Hart is facing a new lawsuit, but it’s not because he’s at fault; it’s because of principle.
According to TMZ, a fan of everybody’s favorite funnyman filed a lawsuit against the entertainer after Hart’s security allegedly assaulted him and used vulgar, unnecessary language with him during a Philadelphia show in August of 2015.
Jay Collins, the fan named in the lawsuit, says he was an invited, VIP guest of the show, and found himself being “aggressively approached and detained by stadium security.” He goes on to say that stadium security eventually turned him over to Kevin Hart’s security team, and that’s when they “jammed” prongs of a tazer into his fave, neck, and back while threatening to taze him. But not before throwing him to the ground and striking him in the head, neck, shoulders, and rib cage.
While Hart had absolutely nothing to do with the alleged incidents that occurred, Collins says he’s suing him because he needs to “take responsibility for his people,” says TMZ.
Collins is seeking more than $50K in damages.
