Action packed USA show “Shooter” had several action scenes, some that got out of hand. You can ask the character Isaac Johnson, better known as Omar Epps. During the shooting of a scene, Epps was part of an incident that turned into an assault and battery lawsuit from co-actress from Donzaleigh Abernathy.
Donzaleigh Abernathy claims she was filming a scene with Epps in May 2016 for “Shooter” in which her character is supposed to get murdered by Epps’ character – when he “completely deviated from the script” and “threw his forearm with full force at her right arm.”
Abernathy (59 at the time) claims Epps (43 at the time) was careless and reckless when it came to the murder scene of Abernathy’s character, Mrs. Fenn. Once the incident occurred, production was put to a halt and Abernathy was rushed to a hospital. Reports have come forward that Abernathy is now suing both Epps and Paramount pictures for Assault and Battery.
