The end of the year is just around the corner, which means awards season is here! In fact, it’s already in full swing.

For the past two months, music fans have eagerly gathered around their flat screen TVs or computers (or any electronic device with Wi-Fi and a screen) to indulge in the accomplishments of their favorite artists via the MTV VMA’s, BET Hip-Hop Awards, Soul Train Awards, MTV European Music Awards, American Music Awards, and, well you get the picture.

But now, fans can finally count down to the master of all ceremonies: the 2018 Grammy Awards.

The official list of nominees was announced this morning. Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, and Bruno Mars are leading in the rap, R&B, and general categories with eight, seven, and six nominations, respectively. And all three artists are going toe-to-toe for the coveted title of Record of the Year. (Are we surprised? Absolutely not!)
