Judges Fired From 'American Idol'?

Rumor has it that there’s trouble on the set of ‘American Idol’ as all of the judges have reportedly been fired. The drama between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey this season wasn’t enough to pull ratings for the show and the network is attempting to get it’s core audience back. Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson and Keith Urban all have options in their contracts to return next season but it’s rumored that FOX is not planning to pick them back up! Although these are all rumors and speculations right now, Randy Jackson confirmed that he would not be returning next season and told E! News that this season would be his last!

"Baggage Claim" Trailer

Paula Patton stars in the upcoming film, “Baggage Claim” alongside Taye Diggs, Trey Songz, Boris Kodjoe, Terrence J, Lala Anthony and more. The movie follows the life of a flight attendant (Paula Patton) in her quest to find a fiancé in thirty days to bring to her younger sister’s wedding. The film hits theaters this September. NBC Cancels "Deception"

After only one season, NBC has officially canceled “Deception”. The drama starring Meagan Good and Laz Alonso struggled with ratings all season long and NBC has officially decided to pull the plug. Meagan Good released a statement saying:

I'm sorry everyone... I just wanted to let you know that NBC has decided not to renew DECEPTION... and I just wanted you guys to hear from me first... I am so thankful ...and humbled ..and blessed by the out pour of love and support -to see it come back.. and saddened that it is not... Thank you so much for supporting me :) means so much... Well as I can before :) ...Daddy always does best onward and upward :) ... Thank you NBC for the Opportunity- I'm definitely better for it ! ... Lego .

‘RHOA’ Star, Phaedra Parks, And Husband Welcome Baby Number 2

Phaedra Parks and her husband, Apollo Nida, welcomed their second child this week: a baby boy, making their 2 year old son Ayden officially a big brother. The couple stated that they planned to have three children, so it looks like they’re on their way! Phadrea sold the exclusive announcement to “Us Weekly” and a source confirmed that “Mom and baby are doing great”. Congrats Phaedra and Apollo!

“The Butler” Trailer Is Released

The trailer for the film, “The Butler” starring Oprah Winfrey and Terrence Howard has officially been released. The movie, shot in New Orleans, tells the true story of Eugene Allen who served as the White House butler under eight presidents. Check out the trailer below. The film is set to be released this October.

Lauryn Hill Sentenced To Three Months In Prison

Although it was previously reported that Lauryn Hill paid off her $970,000 in state and federal taxes, a judge sentenced her to three months in federal prison earlier this week. At the hearing, Lauryn stated that she dropped out of music but planned to fix her situation. She stated,

"I was put into a system I didn't know the nature of. ... I'm a child of former slaves. I got into an economic paradigm and had that imposed on me." She added, "I sold 50 million units ... now I'm up here paying a tax debt. If that's not likened to slavery, I don't know what is."

The judge sentenced Lauryn to 3 months in prison, 3 months of house arrest and 9 months of supervised release!
