Voletta Wallace, The Mother Of The Notorious B.I.G., Passes Away

Voletta Wallace, the mother of The Notorious B.I.G. has passed away at 72. 

TMZ reported that Ms. Wallace passed away on Friday morning in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Ms. Wallace was in hospice care and died of natural causes according to the Monroe County Coroner Thomas Yanac.

After her son’s tragic death on March 9, 1997, Ms. Wallace carried her son’s legacy, oversaw his estate, and maintained the wealth of his family by passing it down to his first child, T’yanna Wallace. Biggie’s net worth was estimated to be around $10 Million when he passed away and it is now estimated to be $160 million. 

When her son was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, she celebrated the accomplishment on her Instagram account. She also posted about his foundation, the numerous tribute concerts, and more.
