Gloria Estefan has firmly denied any involvement in the controversial “Freak Off” parties allegedly organized by Sean “Diddy” Combs. The denial comes after a lawsuit filed by Joseph Manzaro, who claims he was sexually assaulted at a 2015 party purportedly held at the Estefans’ Miami residence.
In the lawsuit, Manzaro alleges that during the event, he was drugged, forced to wear a penis mask, and paraded in front of guests, including high-profile celebrities like Beyoncé, Jay-Z, LeBron James, and the Estefans. However, representatives for Gloria and Emilio Estefan have categorically denied these allegations, asserting that no such event took place at their property.
Gloria Estefan Statement
“The Estefans were not present at the alleged event and have no knowledge of such activities occurring at their residence,” stated their spokesperson. “Any claims suggesting their involvement are entirely false.”
Further scrutiny of Manzaro’s claims has led to amendments in the lawsuit. Notably, Jay-Z and Beyoncé have been removed from the list of alleged witnesses after evidence confirmed they were not in Miami at the time. Their legal team provided documentation, including public appearances and vacation photos, to support their absence.
Sean Combs, currently facing multiple federal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering, has denied all allegations. His legal team describes the claims as “baseless” and an attempt at a monetary payout. Combs remains in custody, with his trial set to commence later this month.
The term “Freak Offs” refers to alleged extravagant parties organized by Combs, characterized by drug use and non-consensual sexual activities. Federal indictments describe these events as “elaborate and produced sex performances” involving coercion and abuse. Authorities have seized evidence from Combs’ properties, including drugs and other related materials.
As the legal proceedings continue, the Estefans maintain their stance, emphasizing their lack of involvement and knowledge regarding the alleged incidents. Their legal team is prepared to address any further developments in the case.
