R&B songbird Monica has tied the knot with her longtime partner Anthony ‘Ant’ Wilson according to Essence.
The rumors began to swirl after Monica made a cryptic Instagram post on Monday (Aug 4).
“Two Hearts [heart emoji] One Love … FOREVER @antthaladiesman,” Monica captioned a carousel of photos featuring herself and Ant decked out for the big day.
“S/o to everybody at the courthouse that got us in and out without a problem,” wrote Ant in Monica’s comments, potentially confirming their union.
“They were amazing,” responded Monica.
The “Angel Of Mine” singer never mentioned the words “wedding” and “marriage.” Yet, fans concluded that she tied the knot and offered congratulations.
Tina Knowles left an endearing comment on Monica’s post. “Congratulations !!❤️❤️ you look gorgeous 🔥🔥❤️❤️much complete happiness tou you and your husband you so deserve it 🙏🏽🙏🏽”
Toya Johnson wrote, “Y’all look so good together. So happy for you sis.”
Monica and Wilson have been public with their ongoing romance since 2023. Over the years, the two have appeared out at events and on social media hand-in-hand.
For over 20 years, Wilson has made a name for himself in artist management, television production, live events, and more. He was recognized in 2003 for the second consecutive year on Billboard’s Hip-Hop/R&B Power Player list. He previously managed Chris Brown and serves as the executive producer of the Starz series BMF.
As Vibe reports, Wilson is also the founder of the Tycoon Music Festival. Monica served as one of three headlining acts in February of 2024.
The wedding speculation arrives ahead of Monica’s The Boy Is Mine Tour co-headlining tour with Brandy. In a press release, Monica shared, “This tour is a celebration of our history, our impact, and the fans who have grown with us.
