Vanessa Bryant, the widow of the late NBA great Kobe Bryant, has officially responded to the pregnancy rumors.
Vanessa shut down rumors that she might be pregnant by sharing some photos of her enjoying her alcoholic beverage at the tennis tournament.
“Enjoying my honey deuce,” Bryant said over a photo of her signature US Open drink.
“Keep me posted on how this imaginary pregnancy rumor is coming along,” she added. “24 years later … same rumor.”
This isn’t the first time Vanessa addressed pregnancy rumors on social media. In June of this year, she was at the center of baseless online rumors that she could be pregnant with her fifth baby, five years after Kobe’s tragic death.
At the time she took to her Instagram Story and channeled Rihanna by sharing a meme of the singer flipping her middle finger while carrying a drink.
“Me protecting my peace, not pregnant & having fun all summer,” the caption read.
Kobe Bryant, a five-time NBA champion, was killed in a helicopter crash in January of 2020. Bryant was traveling to a youth basketball game with his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Bryant, and some family friends. The helicopter crashed in the Southern California mountains, likely due to bad weather conditions.
The Lakers legend was 41 years old.
