Kelly Rowland and husband Tim Weatherspoon, are celebrating their eldest son’s 11th trip around the sun.
The Mea Culpa star, 43, shared photos from son, Titan Jewell’s 11th birthday at Disneyland with their family.
On Nov 7, Rowland wrote “11.. how did we get here. Happy birthday my love,” adding, “Special thanks to @disneyland @disneyparks for making my baby’s day so special.”
The Destiny’s Child star included a carousel of the family of four posing together at Disneyland. She also included a snapshot of Noah, 4, wearing a T-shirt with his big brother on the back.
Titan could be seen blowing out candles on his L.A Lakers-themed birthday cake while his parents clapped in celebration.
Appearing on the cover of Kindred By PARENTS digital issue in October 2023, the singer opened up about the importance of the values she’s instilling in her two sons.
“I just want to get this right. I want to really be a part of bringing some really amazing young men forth into the world. That was my only prayer,” she told the outlet. “I don’t know why I’m emotional, but my only prayer was to have really great young Black men in this world who were sure of themselves and didn’t have to be told who they were.”
Rowland and Weatherspoon got engaged in 2013. The couple wed the following year in Costa Rica in an intimate ceremony. They went on to welcome two sons: Titan Jewell in 2014 and Noah Jon in 2021.
The “Motivation” singer admitted that meeting and falling in love with Weatherspoon changed her perspective on marriage.
“Before I was married, I was like, ‘Well, if it doesn’t work, you just get a divorce,’ ” Rowland told PEOPLE in May 2020. “[But now,] that’s not an option for me. That’s not an option for me because I know I have a good man. I know I have someone that loves me unconditionally, and we’re gonna sort this thing out, we’re gonna figure it out. Above anything, we’ve got faith, and we’ve got each other.”
