Ray J’s online fight with Princess Love, which reportedly led to his Thanksgiving arrest has taken another turn, with critics now targeting his mother, Sonja B. Norwood.

One social media user commented, “You raised a terrible son. Happy Holidays!” Sonja replied, “Sorry but I don’t think so.” Another wrote, “Now we see why he lacks accountability.”
Norwood seemingly referenced the dispute in a Facebook post. The Norwood matriarch wrote that her Thanksgiving “started a little rough,” but ended with a “good family Thanksgiving,” adding that they were headed to Detroit for Brandy’s tour with Monica.
How The Drama Unfolded
The Love & Hip Hop couple appeared in several emotional videos Thursday morning, showing a heated argument, accusations of violence, and police intervention.

During the filmed dispute, Princess repeatedly alleged that Ray J pointed a gun “at us,” which he denied. The confrontation escalated as she accused the “One Wish” singer of being a “delusional woman abuser.”
When another man attempted to intervene, Ray J threatened to “shoot the f**k out of you” and to hit him “over the f**king head.” A man attempts to plead with Ray J to stop, followed by what appeared to be police instructing him to come out with his hands up.
The Aftermath
Ray J later posted a video giving his side. He claims Princess and the unidentified man were drunk and trying to take his children before the argument began. “I’m going to defend my kids and my space,” he said.
Married in 2016, the couple share two children: Melody, 7, and Epik, 5. Love filed for divorce for the fourth time last year.
