‘Big Brother’ Contestant Mickey Lee Passes Away At 35

Mickey Lee, a former contestant on the latest season of the CBS reality show Big Brother, has passed away. She was 35.

In an Instagram post on Dec. 26, Lee’s family confirmed her passing.

“With profound sadness, the family of Mickey Lee announces her transition on Christmas in the early evening,” the post read.

“Mickey captured the hearts of audiences nationwide through her appearance on Big Brother. Her authenticity, strength, and spirit left a lasting impression on fans and fellow cast members alike. She will be remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of so many,” the post continued. ‘And for the genuine connections she formed both on and off screen.”

According to a GoFundMe created on Dec. 22,Lee had been in the ICU after suffering a “series of cardiac arrests.”

“Many of you know Mickey Lee from Big Brother (CBS). She became one of the most talked about houseguests on Season 27. A vibrant, strategic, and unforgettable personality, Mickey captured the attention of fans with her energy, authenticity, and bold gameplay. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, she was based in Atlanta, Georgia,” the fundraiser’s description read. She brought charm and fierce competition to the Big Brother house as an event curator and creative force.”

Rachel Reilly, a Big Brother alum, paid tribute to Lee in the comment section on the Instagram post.

“Mickey will always be remembered. And I am beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know her. For the short period I did. She shared so much light with us and was such an amazing so,” Reilly said.

Mickey 💔 this is so devastating. We are incredibly sad for this unfortunate loss. Rest peacefully, beautiful 😔” Mecole Hayes added.

In response to Lee’s passing, donors have raised more than $32,000 toward the GoFundMe’s $40,000 goal.
