Beyoncé Officially Joins Forbes’ Billionaire List

Beyoncé Knowles‑Carter has reached 10-figure status according to Forbes.

Forbes, announced on Monday (Dec 29) that Beyoncé is the latest to join the ranks of her husband, Rihanna, Elon Musk, Taylor Swift, among others, have have reached billionaire status. She is the fifth musician to reach this milestone per the publication.

The achievement is greatly owed to the success of Cowboy Carter and The Renaissance World Tour. Her Renaissance World Tour in 2023 grossed nearly $600 million. In 2024, she released the country album “Cowboy Carter,” which went on to anchor the world’s highest-grossing concert tour of 2025.

In total, the Cowboy Carter Tour grossed more than $400 million in ticket sales, per Pollstar, and another $50 million in merchandise sold at the shows.

Beyoncé is one of the few billionaires who entered the class mainly through music. Fellow billionaires Kim Kardashian and Ashton Kutcher were able to grow their net worth through various startups, partnerships and investments.

In a 2013 interview, Beyoncé discussed knowing the importance of owning her music. “I felt like I wanted to follow the footsteps of Madonna and be a powerhouse and have my own empire and show other women when you get to this point in your career you don’t have to go sign with someone else and share your money and your success—you do it yourself.”

“She’s one of the music gods,” IAG chairman Dennis Arfa told Forbes in December 2023“The business she does, and the amount of people that she draws, that she can do a movie on her own. She can do things most can’t.”

In addition to her music career, Beyoncé has had a number of collaborations, such as her Ivy Park collection with Adidas, over the years. In 2024, she expanded her business profile even more with the launch of her hairline, Cécred, and whiskey brand, Sir Davis.

In 2008, she launched Parkwood Entertainment which helmed production for Cadillac Records, Obsessed, Lemonade, Homecoming: A Film By Beyoncé and other film projects.

Over the years, the “Get Me Bodied” singer donated millions of dollars to causes through her non-profit organization, BeyGood ranging from students to natural disasters.
