Niecy Nash-Betts Stars In New Jordan Brand Campaign

Niecy Nash-Betts is starring in a new Jordan Brand campaign. Debuting on Sunday night during the 2026 Grammy Awards, the spot also stars WNBA star Napheesa Collier.

Titled “Generational Greatness” and premiering during the Grammy broadcast, the campaign is a remake of an iconic Michael Jordan and Spike Lee commercial from 1991. The late Little Richard appeared in the role of a genie granting Lee’s wishes.

Nash plays a genie who pops out of an Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” sneaker. She makes an offer to Ironheart star Regan Aliyah. Is it an offer that she can refuse?

“Do you wanna be the most hyphenated multi-hyphenate singer-actor-dancer? There’s no such thing as doing too much if you’re good at the too much that you’re doing … Do you want the entire world following your every move?”

The Generational Greatness Campaign Updates A Classic 1991 Jordan Brand Commercial

The “Generational Greatness” campaign debuted during the 2026 Grammy Awards and is a remake of the 1991 Jordan Brand commercial with an all-women cast.

As Aliyah mulls over the decision, Nash-Betts shows her some possible scenarios with game-changing women. Collier, Oscar nominee Teyana Taylor, choreographer Bada Lee, and rapper Awich all make appearances. Also, Rhyne Howard of the Atlanta Dream, Gabby Williams of the Seattle Storm, and Isabelle Harrison of the New York Liberty make cameos.

When they return to the stoop, Aliyah tells Nash-Betts that she wants “all of it.”

“Girl, that’s something we can work with,”  Nash-Betts replied. She clicks her fingers and makes a brand new pair of Air Jordans appear from nowhere. The ad ends on Jordan’s “All or Nothing” tagline.

The Air Jordan 6 Infrared “Salesman” is the hero shown in the ad and will be released for the first time in spring 2026.

According to the Jordan Brand, the campaign is “intended to connect past and present generations of cultural influence.” The ad is also “spotlighting women whose careers span multiple arenas.”
