Usher took some time to show love to his wife, Jennifer Goicoechea, on their second wedding anniversary.
Taking to Instagram, Usher showed the world his affection for Goicoechea.
“Soft as cotton, strong in the weave. Here’s to the life we’re building thread by thread,” Usher wrote. “Happy 2nd Anniversary, my love.”
Goicoechea shared the post on her Instagram Story.
In 2020, Usher and Goicoechea welcomed their first child together, a daughter, Sovereign. Their son Sire was born in 2021. Usher also has two sons, Usher V and Naviyd, with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster.

Usher and Goicoechea wed on February 11, 2024, in Las Vegas. The nuptials took place at an outdoor chapel called Vegas Weddingsjust hours after his headlining performance at Super Bowl LVIII.
Usher lauded Goicoechea while speaking to PEOPLE, a few days before the wedding,
“Listen, when you find someone that you know is a great partner, of course, it is an honor and a pleasure to be able to share life with someone who wants to share it with you and loves you, who you are,” he said. “We’ve obviously made a commitment to life for life together because of our children.”
He added, “And we’re going to be in each other’s lives until we die. Obviously, because we have something to share. That’s beautiful. Our children. But not because of that. I really do feel like I have an amazing partner that I respect.”
In November 2023, Usher expressed his deep love for Goicoechea for being his biggest support.
“I’m very happy, very fortunate to have an incredible friend, not just a partner,” he told PEOPLE. “She’s my best friend, and I love her.”
He continued, “We have an amazing dynamic between our relationship where I’m able to be passionate still about what I do. I have an incredible partner to work through some of the harder times as a young man, dealing with children and dealing with the dynamic of how you communicate with them.”
