Rapper and producer Kanye West, now known professionally as Ye, has announced a major Los Angeles concert scheduled for early April, marking a significant return to the U.S. stage.
The one-night performance is set for April 3 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Organizers describe the show as West’s only scheduled appearance in Los Angeles this year.
The announcement came Monday and quickly generated attention across the music industry and social media. The show will also coincide with the rollout of West’s upcoming album, “Bully,” which is expected to arrive later this month.
Presale tickets are scheduled to begin ahead of the general sale, which opens March 11 through Ticketmaster.
Return to the Los Angeles Stage
The upcoming SoFi Stadium show represents a rare Los Angeles appearance for West in recent years. His last major concert in the city came in 2021 during the “Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert,” which featured Canadian rapper Drake and drew significant media attention.
More recently, West appeared at the Rolling Loud festival near SoFi Stadium in 2024. That event functioned largely as a listening session for music from the collaborative project “Vultures 1.”
Industry observers say the April concert may signal an effort by the artist to reconnect with audiences after several turbulent years in the public spotlight.
West’s career has been marked by both critical acclaim and controversy. His public statements in recent years sparked backlash across entertainment and business circles. Several professional partnerships ended during that period.
In early 2026, West issued a public apology for earlier antisemitic remarks and said he was committed to addressing his behavior and personal struggles.
New Music and Renewed Attention
The Los Angeles concert also serves as promotion for “Bully,” West’s upcoming studio album. The project is expected to be his 12th studio release and follows several years of experimental releases and unfinished demos.
The album has been previewed through singles and early versions shared online. It reportedly features production work by West alongside collaborators including Hassan Khaffaf.
Music industry analysts say the SoFi Stadium performance could offer fans their first live preview of songs from the new project.
West remains one of the most influential figures in modern hip-hop. Over the past two decades, he has released landmark albums and shaped trends in music production, fashion and popular culture.
Whether the Los Angeles show marks the beginning of a broader tour remains unclear. For now, promoters are billing the event as a single, highly anticipated performance in one of the nation’s largest venues.
