Heaven Epps, the daughter of Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist and entrepreneur 2 Chainz, is continuing her education at Howard University.
Heaven is the oldest daughter of 2 Chainz, formerly Tauheed Epps, and wife Kesha Ward.
Ward took to Instagram to share her excitement.
“Screaming to the top of my lungs. IM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!! @howard1867 thank you for accepting Heaven into Howard University. We are on our way! Bison Pride let’s go. So grateful and blessed to share my baby’s accomplishment,” she wrote under a screenshot of her acceptance.
2 Chainz commented on that post, writing that he was “Overly proud of my baby girl.”

Heaven’s acceptance of an HBCU follows the footsteps set before her. Before his stardom as a rap artist, 2 Chainz received an athletic scholarship to play basketball at Alabama State University.
A proud dad
This isn’t the first time 2 Chainz has boasted his baby girl’s academic accomplishments. In May 2020, the rapper posted about Heaven making the honor roll during the pandemic, per BET.
“I’m so proud of my big girl Heaven,” 2 Chainz gushed in the caption. “She made [the] honor roll at one of the hardest private schools in GA during all these pandemic online courses.”
He playfully added, “P.S. She is 11 and I told her when she was a baby that I was gone pick her up until she turn[s] 12 Butt shiiiiid it’s over for that.”
The rapper and his wife, Kesha Ward, have been have been married since 2018 and share three children together.
Last year, 2 Chainz sat down with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay and discussed why he prefers marriage.
“I’ve seen what outside looks like. … It’s just something about having that stability and that loyalty. That real loyalty; that real love. You can’t find that everywhere, especially when you get to a certain level. You don’t know real or fake.”
