The custody battle Jennifer Hudson and ex-fiance David Otunga remains ongoing. According to Page Six, Otunga has filed for “an emergency petition, accusing Hudson of being in contempt of court and seeking sanctions.”
Otunga was not too happy with the statement that was released by the singer to People Magazine. She told the media outlet, she requested a protective order against Otunga out of the best interest of their son. The former WWE star finds the statement to be damaging to his reputation. He also claims that he was being forcibly removed from their family in front of their son.
The Blast reports:
“Despite the court order stating each party is prohibited from disseminating photos or making comments about their child, Otunga claims Hudson gave an interview to an entertainment news show that showed numerous photos of their son and said his name throughout. He claims she violated the court order with the interview.
Otunga wants Hudson found in civil contempt of court and sanctioned for her actions. He is also asking that he not be held to a gag order she can’t follow.
Presently, the gag order remains in place until a hearing next month.”
