BlackWeek Returns To New York For It’s Second Year

BLACKWEEK, an economic forum and cultural festival, returns to New York City from October 6-October 9, 2025 at Spring Studios.

The pioneering conference, aimed at reshaping diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the advertising industry, made it’s inaugural appearance in October 2024.

At the helm of Blackweek’s formation are several Black and Latino founders including Monique Nelson, executive chairman of UNIWORLD Group (UWG); Walter T. Geer III, chief creative officer, Innovation North America at VML; Andre Gray, chief creative officer at Annex 88 (Havas); Adan Romero, chief creative officer at FKA Publicis; Dabo Ché, founder of CHÉ Creative; Gabrielle Shirdan, founder and CEO of Kitchen Table; and Joe Anthony, founder and CEO of Hero Collective and Hero Media.

This year’s theme, “Welcome to the Culture Economy,” will explore the intersection between tomorrow’s business and today’s cultural landscape. BLACKWEEK 2025 will reinforce the critical need for companies, brands and business leaders to embrace culture or risk losing relevance in today’s rapidly evolving landscape.

The conference arrives amid culture climate changes and the political climate in flux. This year’s guest include Don Lemon, Kenan Thompson, Joy-Ann Reid, Tamika D. Mallory, Mara Brock Ali and many more.
