Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar has announced that her father has passed away from COVID-19 complications.
Nur Omar Mohamed, 67, passed away on Monday morning (June 15th), Rep. Omar said in a statement announcing her father’s death, “No words can describe what he meant to me and all who knew him. She would also post him on her Instagram account.
It has been reported that COVID-19 has killed more than 100,000 people.
