REGISTER TO VOTE DEADLINE: October 9, 2020

Vote By Mail: To vote by mail, you must request an absentee ballot by October 27, 2020 deadline from your local Board of Elections.

  1. Voters may select “Temporary illness or physical disability” on the form. This includes the potential for contraction/community spread of COVID-19 which is considered an illness.
  2. Completed ballots must be returned by mail (postmarked) or hand-delivered to the Board of Elections or dropped off at any poll site (including Early Voting sites) by Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.

NEW JERSEY

Complete an online Voter Registration application, then mail it to your local County Elections Official. You may also deliver it by hand to these locations listed HERE.

Online voter registration is not offered in NJ.

GENERAL ELECTION 2020

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Tues, Oct 13, 2020

Vote By Mail: ALL registered voters will be receiving a ballot by mail.

ALL ballots must be sent through the U.S. Postal Service, postmarked by Nov. 3, and received by county election boards by Nov. 10 at 8 p.m. a week after Election Day.

New Jersey will also set up at least 10 secure boxes in each county where you can drop in your ballots.

You may also complete the State of Connecticut Mail-In Voter Registration Form and mail it to your local town hall. Or, fill out this form and take to a local town hall or voter registration office.
