50 Cent, formerly known as Curtis Jackson, is on the star-studded roster for “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2026” telecast.
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve is the country’s most-watched New Year’s Eve celebration. Kicking off in New York and continuing through Las Vegas, Chicago, Puerto Rico and beyond, this year’s show will feature its most expansive slate of musical artists yet.
After debuting his highly anticipated film at the start of December, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, Jackson will be closing out the year in festive spirits at New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. The Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper is slated to perform along with Mariah Carey, DJ Cassidy, Ciara, Lil Jon, and Pitbull among others.
This year marks an official decade since Jackson released an album. There is no word on what his setlist includes for the telecast, which makes the event even more anticipatory.
The 50-year-old artist’s announcement of his performance came just one day after he dropped his new docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning on Netflix.
The new series detailed the sexual misconduct allegations against Diddy, with whom 50 Cent has shared a public feud for nearly two decades. 50 Cent was an executive producer who spearheaded the development of the docuseries. He first announced the project in December 2023 and confirmed that all the proceeds of the series would go to victims of sexual misconduct allegations against the rapper.
“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026” airs Wednesday, December 31, live on ABC beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST, and next day on Hulu.
