The Lifetime docuseries Surviving R. Kelly, revealed a lot of shocking moments and exploration of abuse that has been spanning for 30 years, that was put together by R. Kelly. Many were horrified by these events and encounters, while other felt compelled to reach out and to talk about their own experiences.
The Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network had sent out a tweet in encouraging those who needed to talk that they can call their hotline. See photo below.

Reported by The Daily Beast, the National Sexual Abuse Hotline, saw an increase of 27 percent in calls. The number has increased by the ending of the docuseries on Saturday night.
