Alicia Keys and husband Swizz Beatz shared a heartfelt social post about their son, Egypt on his 15th birthday.

In the IG Reel, Keys gave fans a glimpse into Egypt’s character and the pride she has being his mother.

“Ever since you were little you loved this thing. You just kept at it and at it. Everything you touch is magic,” the singer voicedover.

The mom and son recently shared a dinner date where she posted an IG carousel of sweet moments of her eldest child.

“Mom-son date night makes me so happy!” she began her post.

“Watching you grow into such a brilliant, kind, determined, young soul takes my breath away,” she wrote. “I’m beyond proud of the young king you’re becoming.”

“I really talk with them a lot about listening to themselves,”

Keys tied the knot with her husband in 2010, officially becoming a blended family. In total, they have 5 children: Kaseem Dean Jr. (who Beatz had with ex-wife Mashonda Tifrere), Egypt Dean, 15, Genesis Ali Dean, 11, Nicole Dean, 17 and, Prince Nasir, 24.

In 2023, Keys reflected to InStyle about how her approach to parenting is all about teaching her sons to trust themselves and drown out any noise—something she had to learn for herself. “I really talk with them a lot about listening to themselves,” she told the outlet. “And we talk about that. I said, ‘Well, what do you want? What do you think? What are you feeling?’

Earlier this year the family went to Aspen for spring break. “THE DEANS ASPEN SPRING BREAK TAKEOVER 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽” the producer wrote in a caption. Swizz Beatz shared several images and videos from their quality time in Aspen.

In one of the clips shared, Egypt can be seen impressing the audience with his piano playing skills. The composer and rapper also shared a video of his family vibing out in front of a crowd while a South African DJ and record producer Black Coffee played his remix of Alicia Keys’ “In Common.”
