Alix Lapri has been arrested in Georgia and charged with cruelty to children in the third degree and disorderly conduct.

The “Power” star was arrested on August 18, although the alleged offense took place on August 10. Lapri’s cruelty charge is explained as “a person can face such a charge if they intentionally allow a child under 18 to witness the commission of a forcible felony, battery, or family violence battery.”

The actress has not addressed the charges brought up against her, and her reps have not released a statement on her behalf either. Her co-stars, Michael Rainey Jr. and Gianni Paolo broke their silence about Lapri’s arrest.

“On the real though, y’all gotta start reading before commenting. She didn’t hurt any kids. Y’all are hoping that’s the case so bad… that’s crazy, smh.” Paolo also commented under the photo and said, “mugshot fine asf @michaelraineyjr.”

Alix Lapri is best known for her role as Effie Morales in the hit show Power. We will update you when more information becomes available.
