As the beloved daytime talk show The Real wrapped with its final episode last week, it gave a final goodbye to all of the hosts except for Amanda Seales.
Seales joined the cast for its sixth season in 2020 alongside Adrienne Bailon, Tamera Mowry Housely, Jeanine Mai, and Loni Love, where they all spoke on multiple topics including fashion, and beauty, racism, etc.
However, the comedian/actress left the show five months later and explained her decision to leave. “It doesn’t feel good to my soul to be at a place where I can not speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to and where the people that are speaking to me in despairing ways are not being handled.”
We recently reported that the daytime show was coming to an end after being on the air for eight years. After the farewell episode aired, Amanda Seales went on social media to address the fact that she was left out.
“I am not featured in the farewell episode, apparently, I’ll have some things to say about that.” She also went to Twitter to answer a fan’s concern about why she was left out.
“Sure didn’t. But they can absolutely go duck themselves with a chainsaw for doing so,” she wrote.”
