Amber Rose stands firm in her beliefs, and no critic can sway her. On Monday, May 20, the Philly model and reality star posted a photo posing with former POTUS Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, at a political event. Captioning the post “Trump 2024,” Rose soon faced significant backlash.

Amber Rose Defends Her Position

The Shade Room reposted the photo, prompting the 40-year-old Slut Walk founder to defend her stance as a Trump supporter. “Lmaooo y’all think Biden cares about black ppl??? Sad. Do your research,” she wrote. “I did. I’ll always put women first. Y’all want biological men in women’s sports. Trump supports the most reasonable compromise on abortion. Stop being brainwashed, cuz WE’RE ppl of color. Make your own decisions.”

This comment triggered even more criticism. One person wrote, “WE? Girl you don’t even like being called a black woman… Don’t speak for US abt to piss me off.” Another commented, “She was an advocate to stop Sl*t shaming. And ironically picks the man that dragged Stormy Daniels’ name [through] the mud… lost a multi-million dollar suit against Carroll. The same man who said ‘grab her by the p’ but ok Amber… sure he’s aligned. Sure.”

A third person added, “I used to like her but ever since she got that tattoo on her forehead and that last BD cheated on her and left for that old lady she hasn’t been right. I’m not team Biden either but to stand for the man who proudly makes laws on women’s bodies and is ok with kids in cages and had this country so racially divided, you can’t possibly be for real.”

Celebrity Influence on Votes

Amber Rose is among several Hip-Hop figures supporting Trump. Whether her celebrity status will sway votes remains uncertain. Ice Cube recently claimed he doesn’t believe celebrities can influence votes in this presidential election year. On Fox Business’ Mornings with Maria, Cube discussed politics, his Big 3 basketball league, and more.

When asked about a shift in the Black community as rappers endorse Trump, Cube stated, “People gonna make a decision on who they want to be president. It’s a personal decision. I don’t know if they care if any rappers or entertainers get up there and say anything. It’s really a personal decision.”

He emphasized that both Trump and Biden have received mixed reviews, adding, “People know who Trump is. People know who Biden is. They gon’ make their decision no matter who gets up there and pushes whatever decision they on. The country knows both of these guys very well. I just think it’s gonna come down to a personal decision.”
