Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are considering exchanging vows one day.
On Tuesday’s episode of their “Amy & T.J.” podcast, Robach shared that she and her fellow former “GMA3” co-anchor have considered tying the knot.
“We did not enter this relationship for fun or for ‘Let’s see what happens,’” the 50-year-old explained. “We entered this relationship because we intended on spending our lives together. So whether or not we have some sort of legal, you know, I don’t know, button on it.”
However, Robach noted that “I do” is “not something we’re racing to or rushing towards,” given this would be the third marriage for both herself and 46-year-old Holmes.
“We both have two marriages under our belts and so it’s not something we’re racing to or rushing towards,” she explained. “But there is something, I get it, it’s this thing that I can’t even explain why there’s this desire, but I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I can say that. It’s on the table. It’s on the table.”
Holmes, 46, meanwhile, joked about the “tiny box” under the Christmas tree and admitted that the duo’s respective ages play a part in him wanting to tie the knot.
“I want to marry you, in part, because you’re 50 and I’m 46. And I’m very sick of introducing a 50-year-old woman as my girlfriend. That just sounds stupid,” he said.
“Thank you for noting the age difference,” laughed Robach.
After news of their romance broke in late 2022, both anchors lost their gigs early this year. Though the couple remained largely off the radar for months to come, it wasn’t long before Robach and her husband, “Melrose Place” star Andrew Shue, finalized their divorce. This fall, reports confirmed Holmes and wife Marilee Fiebig had done the same.
