"Creed" and "Black Panther" actor Michael B. Jordan have signed a first-look TV deal with Amazon directly through his Outlier Society Productions company.

Outlier Society Productions was founded by Jordan back in 2016.  Through this production company, the 31-year-old actor has been seen as the co-producer and star in Fahrenheit 451 as well as produce Raising Dion, a Netflix original series set to arrive later this year.

The deal with Amazon come to show that the tech giant’s streaming service will have the first dibs on any new projects created by Jordan and the Outlier Society Production company. Another key point to look out for in this deal is that Amazon will ensure that all of Jordan’s projects are restricted to them only and representative in terms of the cast and crew hired.

This would be the second first-look deal signed by Jordan since he created his very own Outlier Society Productions. Just this year alone, Michael signed a similar agreement for movies and other various projects with none other than Warner Brothers.  This news in which came after the new company-wide diversity initiative and the announcement of Just Mercy, which Jordan will produce and star in.

“It’s an exciting moment for Outlier Society,” Jordan said in a statement.

“On behalf of myself and president of production, Alana Mayo, we are thrilled to be entering into this partnership with Amazon Studios. In just a few short years they have become home to some of television’s most groundbreaking series and an extraordinary place for talent to create, with a cutting-edge business model that speaks to today’s audiences. Alongside the expert leadership at Amazon Studios, we can’t wait to unveil the fruits of this union.”
