Ari Lennox said that she had to cancel her show in Los Angeles due to low ticket sales.
She revealed that people were not buying tickets to her show. While on Instagram Live, she said, “We just couldn’t sell tickets. So, that’s my life right now. I guess hopefully things will change once I drop the music, drop the album and it is though very telling.”
The singer continued, “I take everything personally. You’re only as good as the music you put out, so it’s just like ‘goddamnit.’” She also said that she knows that her fanbase in Washington D.C. is loyal and is thinking about doing more shows there.
The cancelation of this recent show comes after she revealed that she was having financial trouble.
