As the year comes to an end, our forever President- Barack Obama, takes to his Instagram to share his favorite books, songs and movies for the year of 2018. 

Obama shares his list at the end of every year. This year, on the top of his favorite books list is, of course, ‘Becoming’ by his wife, Michelle Obama. At the top of his song list is ‘Apes**t,’ by The Carters. Also, ‘Black Panther, made the list for movies. 

He captions his Instagram post, “As 2018 draws to a close, i’m continuing my favorite tradition of mine and sharing my year end-lists.”

As 2018 draws to a close, I’m continuing a favorite tradition of mine and sharing my year-end lists. It gives me a moment to pause and reflect on the year through the books, movies, and music that I found most thought-provoking, inspiring, or just plain loved. It also gives me a chance to highlight talented authors, artists, and storytellers – some who are household names and others who you may not have heard of before.
