It’s official!

Former Texas congressman Beto O’Rourke told the world that he will run in the upcoming Presidential election.

As a Democratic, his plan is to take down the “evil Trump empire,” reported on a site. In a video posted to CNN, he said, “the challenges that we face right now, the interconnected crises in our economy, our democracy, and our climate have never been greater.”

On Twitter, he wrote, “I am running to serve you as the next president. The challenges we face are the greatest in living memory. No one person can meet them on their own. Only this country can do that, and only if we build a movement that includes all of us. Say you’re in.” His official camping will kick off in El, Paso, Texas, on March 30.

In the video, he also said he plans on running a “positive campaign that seeks to bring out the very best from every single one of us, that seeks to unite a very divided country.”
