Beyoncé is making dreams come true for students in Detroit.
The singer has reportedly donated $100,000 in scholarship funding for 10 students at the Detroit School for Digital Technology through her BeyGood foundation as part of the Renaissance Scholars program.
Her rep said about the donation, “We were delighted to spend the morning with the Detroit School for Digital Technology, and announce that @dsdttech will receive $100k in Renaissance scholarship funds to support students with financial need.”
As Beyoncé is currently on her Renaissance World Tour, she revealed that she will be giving $1 million in scholarships to different colleges on the same route of her tour. Along with the scholarships, Queen Bey also plans to donate $1 million to nearly 1,000 small business grants throughout the tour.
Ever since BeyGood was founded in 2013, the “Church Girl” singer has donated to multiple efforts including educational, food, water, and housing security, career development, disaster relief, and more in the US and abroad.
We love to see it!
