Beyoncé Postpones Announcement In Light Of LA Wildfires

Beyoncé has the entire world ready to hear her highly anticipated announcement, however, it looks like fans will have to wait a bit longer. 

The singer has postponed her January 14 announcement in light of the LA wildfires. In a statement, the singer said, “The January 14th announcement will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires around areas of Los Angeles.” 

She continued, “I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss. We are so blessed to have brave first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles Community. To join our efforts in supporting those impacted. Please visit @beygood. We recently reported that Beyoncé’s foundation, BeyGood, donated $2.5 million to support families who lost their homes and to help community organizations with their relief efforts. In her Instagram caption, she wrote, “The BeyGOOD LA Fire Relief Fund has donated $2.5 million to directly support families who lost their homes and community organizations at the forefront of relief. Please join us in supporting with whatever you can. Link in bio.” 

Fans commended Beyoncé on her decision to postpone her announcement. One user said, “Tell us on Monday, nobody cares about the inaugurations, please.” Another fan wrote, “No shade, money wasn’t looking quite announcement ready anyway. We’ll be patient.”
