Beyoncé has closed out her Cowboy Carter Tour, making history in the process. The 32‑show stadium trek grossed a staggering $407.6 million and sold 1.6 million tickets. It is now officially the highest‑grossing country music tour in Billboard Boxscore history.

Record‑Breaking Results

This tour shattered more than 40 Boxscore records along the way, including setting venue records at major stadiums in Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, and others. At MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, Beyoncé sold 250,083 tickets, grossing $70.3 million alone. That runs unprecedented for a single artist residency on one tour. Fans saw her hold six sold‑out nights at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London (275,399 tickets; $61.4 million gross).

Despite offering only nine cities, the average night gross approached $12.7 million, with almost 50,000 fans per show and average ticket price of $255. That makes it the shortest tour ever to cross the $400 million mark—by a country mile.

A Spectacular Finale in Las Vegas

The tour culminated on July 26, 2025 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. As the final act, Beyoncé invited Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for a surprise Destiny’s Child reunion. It was their first joint performance since Coachella 2018. On stage in coordinating gold western outfits, the trio dazzled fans with hits like “Lose My Breath,” “Bootylicious,” and the viral mute‑challenge performance of “Energy.”

Also joining the closing night were Jay‑Z, performing “Crazy in Love,” and Shaboozey, delivering “Sweet Honey Buckin’.” Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter appeared as well.

Cultural Impact and Genre Shifts

This tour was anchored by Beyoncé’s eighth studio album Cowboy Carter, which won Album of the Year at the 2025 Grammy Awards—her first in that category. Its lead single “Texas Hold ’Em” made her the first Black woman ever to top the Hot Country Songs chart. Those accomplishments helped pave the way for the tour’s crossover success.

Critics have noted that Cowboy Carter helped spark a revival of country music in the 2020s. One survey showed 60% of UK listeners discovered country after the album’s release. Another worldwide poll found over one‑third of Gen Z began exploring the genre because of Beyoncé.

While critics debated whether it qualifies as country, fans showed up in stadiums wearing cowboy boots, fringe vests, and rhinestone Stetsons, embracing both the aesthetic and the message.
