Bill Cosby arrived at Montgomery County’s courthouse this morning for the start of his two-day sentencing hearing, which will determine the punishment for the 81- year old comedian who’s been convicted of sexual assault.
Cosby is appearing in front of Judge Steven T. O’Neill, who oversaw the actor’s 2018 retrial.
The hearing is to help the judge determine appropriate sentencing for Cosby, who could receive anything from probation to 30 years in prison for assaulting former Temple University employee Andrea Constand in 2004.

According to Pennsylvania state law, Cosby’s penalty should be one to four years in prison because he has no priors.
The actor’s defense team, which is led by attorney Joesph P. Green Jr., is accusing Judge O’Neill of bias, and have asked to have him removed from the case. O’Neill believes Cosby should be classified as a sexually violent predator.
