Comedian and actor Bill Cosby have plans to ring in the new year in a big way.
During a recent radio interview, the 85-year-old revealed that he will be on tour in 2023. “When I come out of this, I feel that I will be able to perform and be the Bill Cosby that my audience knows me to be.”
He went on to respond to the fact that the tour will happen in 2023, “Yes. Yes, because there’s so much fun to be had in this storytelling that I do. Years ago, maybe 10 years ago, I found it was better to say it after I write it.”
Cosby’s announcement comes shortly after it was revealed that five more women have filed a lawsuit against him and NBC. The women, Lili Bernard, Eden Tirl, Jennifer Thompson, Jewel Gittens, and Cindra Ladd all claim that they were sexually assaulted or forced to have sex with Bill Cosby.
We have reported that “America’s Favorite Dad,” was found guilty of a felony sexual assault charge in 2018. He ended up spending almost three years in 2021 after his conviction was overturned by the Supreme Court.
According to Cosby’s agent Andrew Wyatt, his client, “is looking at spring/summer to start touring.” What are your thoughts on this?
