Our girl Regina Hall will be delivering the keynote speech at the commencement ceremony for the graduating class of 2019.
In a news release by Dillard University President Walter M. Kimbrough, he says:
“The last few years have established her as a force, from the critically acclaimed Showtime series “Black Monday,” to the New Orleans based hit Girls Trip, and with the current comedy “Little” out now with Shaft coming out this summer, she’s one of the hottest actresses today. She definitely has a message for our graduates.”
Hall received her Master’s in journalism after graduating from New York University. Following the death of her father, she decided to follow her dreams and pursue acting at 27.
Hall will be speaking to over 260 students on May 11 at 8 a.m. at the University’s Gentilly campus.
