According to Bow Wow’s social media posts, he’s been going through some things for quite some time. But things went from bad to worse last night after reports surfaced that he lost it while shooting Growing Up Hip-Hop: Atlanta.
The cast, which includes Reginae Carter and Zonnique Pullins, was filming at Atlanta’s Westside Cultural Arts Center last night when Bow Wow went from “calm, cool, and collected to a person no one recognized,” TMZ reports.
The man properly known as Shad Moss allegedly “snapped,” and started “shattering gear” including three cameras. He also attacked anyone who tried to intervene to calm him down and deescalate the situation.
Police were called to the scene, but there is no word on whether or not there were any arrests made. Fellow rapper and cast mate, Da Brat, who was recently released from probation, is rumored to have been involved in the incident.
The Atlanta Police Department has offered no comment or updates at this time.
Over the past month or so, Bow Wow hasn’t posted some very concerning tweets. He’s alluded to killing himself, leaving the industry, and disappearing to a place out of the spotlight. Moss has also released a series of new singles and videos with titles like, “Broken Heart” and “They Think I’m Crazy.”
