Tons of chaos last night (July 27) in Brownsville, Brooklyn.
According to CNN, gunfire broke out at a community block party. A 38-year-old man has reportedly died, while 11 people are injured.
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said the shooting “shattered a peaceful neighborhood event,” reported on the article.
The Mayor took to Twitter to send his condolences. Take a look:
We had a terrible shooting in Brownsville tonight that shattered a peaceful neighborhood event. Our hearts go out to the victims.

Details are developing as of right now…It’s unclear who the shooter was or if there was a motive.
