Iconic civil rights leader Jesse Jackson, 79, and his wife, Jacqueline Jackson, 77, have been hospitalized after testing positive for COVID.
Jesse got the COVID vaccine in March, so hopefully, he’ll face little to no complications. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2017. CNN points out in February, Jesse underwent successful surgery after being hospitalized for abdominal discomfort.
The Jacksons are both being treated at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. As reported on Yahoo, “Doctors are currently monitoring the condition of both.”
Story developing…the report says there aren’t any updates as of right now. We’ll keep you posted as they become available.
