Busta Rhymes has been hit with a massive lawsuit by his former assistant for $7 million.

Reports reveal that the Brooklyn rapper is being sued by Dashiel Gables for allegedly violating multiple labor laws and for assault. Gables’ lawsuit claims that Rhymes punched him in the face during an argument while in the lobby of the rapper’s apartment in January. The former assistant said the altercation began because he was on the phone while on the job. Gables suffered swelling to the eye and emotional trauma.

The lawsuit also claims that Busta Rhymes had violated multiple labor laws with included failure to pay earned wages and workplace mistreatment. After the incident took place in January, the rapper turned himself in to the police after allegedly leaving the scene. He was later charged with a few misdemeanors, including attempted assault, harassment, and third-degree assault.

Dashiel Gables is seeking $7 million in damages for battery, assault, infliction of emotional distress, and wage theft. Gables added that once the incident happened, Busta Rhymes and his team quickly terminated his employment and ended all communication with him.

This news comes after Busta Rhymes received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. What are your thoughts on this?
