Cam Newton continues to raise eyebrows with his views on women.
On the “It’s Giving” podcast, Newton was asked if a woman’s value decreases if she has children by different partners. The former NFL MVP didn’t hesitate to share his thoughts.
“Women’s value gets lower, the more children that they have,” Newton responded.
NEWTON HAS NINE CHILDREN WITH THREE DIFFERENT WOMEN
His remarks sent social media ablaze with many noting that Newton has nine children with several women. With Shakia Proctor, he shares ur biological children—Chosen, Reign-Siri, Camidas, and Cashmere. Newton also maintains a close parental role with Proctor’s daughter, Shakira, from a previous relationship.
Additionally, Newton has a son named Caesar, a daughter Exuma, and another son Jester with La Reina Shaw. Newton also treats Shaw’s eldest son, Jaden, as his own. Newton is currently in a relationship with Jasmin “Watch Jazzy” Brown, and they have two children together.
Elsewhere in the interview, Newton says that a man must accept his partner’s children. If he doesn’t, he “ain’t the guy for you.”
“When I came into your life, I was willing to accept you and whatever you had,” he said. “That ain’t how it works.”
“All them children… they’re my responsibility,” he said. Newton went on to describe his familial setup as a “family business.”
In other Newton-related news, his BET + show “106 & Sports’ was recently cancelled by the network. Launched on October 15, 2025, the series was co-hosted by Newton and sports analyst Ashley Nicole Moss.
As WBLS reported, the show struggled to generate the digital “buzz” to offset its high production costs. Filmed at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, the show attempted to recapture the magic of the original 106 & Park. The show blends sports debates with music and fashion.
Although no new episodes will be produced, the remaining episodes are available for streaming on BET platforms.
