It seems like Chilli isn’t bothered by Usher’s recent confession about her rejecting his marriage proposal.
A source close to the TLC singer said, “Chilli is unbothered by the recent hoopla involving her past relationship.” We reported that Usher revealed that he was heartbroken once Chilli said no to his proposal.
“I wanted to marry her. I proposed and she told me no,” the Confessions singer said. “I went through a great deal of pain after that, not trusting women or wanting to open up.” Chilli is currently dating TV star Matthew Lawrence and spoke about her relationship with him.
“I’ve never experienced anything like this,” she said in an interview last year. “To this day we have not had one argument.” Usher recently married his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoechea just three days before his Super Bowl halftime performance that took place on Sunday.
